  • Is Recovery Mountain simply a 12 Step program?

    While the 12-Step principles are the foundation of our program, we apply a multi-disciplinary model within a residential setting, offering a balance of structure and support while guests are addressing dependency. Guests participate in individual and group life coaching sessions, designed to help each guest navigate their individual circumstances and work toward accomplishing individual goals.

  • Do you accept private insurance, Medicaid or Medicare?

    Due to the nature of our program at Recovery Mountain we do not currently take insurance although we do offer scholarships. Our program is designed to individualize and maximize personal attention along with providing services and amenities such as; individual and group therapy, educational offerings, private suites, indoor athletic facilities, nutrition and wellnesss education, Gluten free and farm to table meals. We also participate in area retreats and outdoor and area recreational opportunities, such as; water and snow skiing, tubing, fishing, mountain biking, hiking and various other local events and performances.

  • What are the next steps to get help?

    Finding a recovery treatment center for substance abuse addiction that is right for you and your family is an important and necessary step. Our admissions team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, to help you understand the recovery process and respond to any of your questions and concerns. You can apply for admissions whenever you are ready.

  • What is the length of time for this program?

    Typically guests participate in our program for a minimum 2 - 5 week stay. While at Recovery Mountain, guests will work with our staff regularly to assess progress and readiness for departure.

  • I enjoy working out, can I continue with my daily fitness routine while at Recovery Mountain?

    Absolutely! We have a state of the art, indoor fitness center staffed with certified athletic trainers. Whether you are a beginner or an elite athlete, our certified training staff work with our guests daily in achieving their fitness goals.

  • Can my family visit while I am at Recovery Mountain?

    Family visitation is part of our program at Recovery Mountain. A schedule for visitation is established shortly after you arrive at Recovery Mountain. The number of visits is determined by the length of stay and is determined between the guest, the family and the clinical team.

  • Can I request a private room for my stay at Recovery Mountain?

    A private room can be requested as well as enrollment in our Top Flight Program (Executive & Professional level program). Requests are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Should your request not be available at the time or enrollment, we will do our best to accommodate your request during your stay at Recovery Mountain.

  • Can I smoke while at Recovery Mountain?

    We are a smoking and vaping campus.  There is a designated area for smoking along with scheduled times throughout the day when smoking is allowed. Cigarettes and vaping supplies are subject to inspection and you must have the ability to purchase cigarettes and vaping supplies through our True Link cards (provided upon enrollment).
